| Howzit all,
First off. Massive cool site guys! I love it!
My name is Eugynn (pronounced U-gin). I'm from Cape Town, South Africa and only found out about fixed gear bikes this week.
I'm not realy a rider, but after I saw all the wicked Fixed gears out there, y'all's included, guess what I'm gonna start doing. I never knew or even thought you could smooth out and clean a racer the way you guys do.
I have an old, old, very old Pro Tourer lying around and started working on it last night after visiting your site. I'm gonna make it my little project for the next few months. I'm taking pictures as i go along and will post them when I'm done.
I'm looking quite forward to chatting with you guys and learn more from you about these awesome bikes as I am already a huge fan of this marvel known as FIXEDGEAR!

| Hello again: I finally finished my first Fixie! I have taken it out three times to date. Riding a fixed-gear is remarkably smooth and quite. I was afraid I could not stop quickly so I put a front brake on from the start: it has already saved my butt. I love the ride: thank you Bike-Island. I'm Skyy and I started riding fixie whips because it was the cool thing. I have a kilo TT but then I bought a bike from urban outfitters because its my favorite store. I like things that are cool, like shitty hipster bands that play house music w/ screaming and yelling in the background. I love riding my bike to the nearest starbucks, blowing thru all the lights along the way. You will see my bike locked up with a wire lock outside the starbucks in North Park. I like to party at true north because lots of tool bags go there and I feel at home. I probably will only ride my bike, for about 6 months then I will date a girl in the "scene" and will sell my bike.. If its washed out culture that I can buy, I'm for it. I'm pretty sure all of here can relate...
