I imagine Im older than probably most people here, and definitely not cool enough to be here. I just bought my first fixie, got a great deal on a fuji league. I think its awesome, but I also have a feeling it makes me a poser. I hope not. No pictures yet, but they are coming soon. Not a poser if you genuinely enjoy riding a fixed gear, brotha. There isn't just one model for what a fixed gear rider is. Cats have been fixed gear enthusiasts before it became trendy and these same cats will continue to ride them when the trend is dead.

Sorry if I cast some kind of negative vote on your post, Im pretty new to this and it was unintentional. Yeah I love riding this fixed gear. The bulk of my cycling is for triathlon, but Im using the fixie for commuting and just pure fun. Im loving this bike because I dont have to train or push with it, its just pure fun.

| Hi my name is Lloyd and I'm from Carson, CA. I've been riding fixed gear for about a year now. I started off with a Gavin Solo Bike and I'm almost finished building up a 54cm white Specialized Langster. Pics available shortly. | |

| The only langster for 2010 that came white was the steel one. The aluminum one was black. Unless you painted it. I'm curious if you can't tell, lol. | |

| Steel frame. Not bad. Those frames are cool they're comfy. White is the less common color too. I like the gold. Good color combo. If only you had a proper stem. Thats the only thing i'm not diggin about it. Other than that stem, thats a real sweet ride. IMO. | |

| That 26.0 clamp isnt gonna clamp your risers most likely. Got drops or bullhorns? Risers are usually 25.4 | |

| Finally got a pick of my bike. I know that the ultimate sin is having the reflectors on it, but I have to ride at night a lot, and they make my mommy feel better. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/url] | |

get some knog lights bro. they are cheap, effective and those reflectors take away from your bike's look.

| Hello Everyone,
Been kind of trolling the site for a couple weeks and decided its about time for me to stop being a creeper and introduce myself.
I'm from the Bay Area, CA but have been living in orange county for the past few years (school/work). I've been building my first bike, and all the info on this forum has been very helpful. Thanks!
