HAHA i was wondering when you would introduce yourself. Very nice Phil Wood. I was thinking of building 2 bikes too one single one fix... But I came to the conclusion to make one for tricking one for commuting. Anyway, nice bikes! You should post more often

Unicycles can be pretty badass. There was this kid in SLO who used to bomb around during bike night on a unicycle.. man, he was pretty good with that thing, jumping stuff and tricking it. I'd be a unicycler would take well to track standing.

Welcome! First off when you spin the fork does the tire clear the frame? If not, get a trick fork. Second, make sure you dont have brakes ofcourse. Third, you need a riser bar or anything that doesnt drop. I

Get a trick fork or a fork with a longer rake. And risers.

My name's Alex and I live in the 619.
Been biking for years and just recently (a week ago) started riding fixed, and I'm addicted.
I commute to school and hit up trails or the city on weekends... and mass at the end of the month.
I have plans to build another fixie or 2 to better cover all avenues of the sport. One for tricking and one for track riding along with my current commuter.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Though i dig fixies, I also love road bikes Smile
here's my 1980's Atala team bike with a campy gruppo

Hope to ride with you guys in the near future Smile
