Post your route that you did for the day!

So today me, Paulo, and Paulmitchel rode our bikes. This is my personal mapping of what I did for the day. We lost each other near main street and just met up at the best ice cream parlor ever... OASIS ICE CREAM.

With a total of 30.85 miles. Might have been more because we just cruised around random places.

First - that MapMyRide is a little wacky - but i did manage to get my ride mapped.

Second - cool idea.

Third - I wont make a daily habit outta this - but i like the idea.

Fourth - this is the last item in my list.

I took the ol' 357 out for some sidewalk terror today. my rides always consist of ducking into alley and behind every store i pass to check out any banks, ledges, gaps, etc that can be ridden. i wall-rode the gray K-Rail in front of the SPAWAR guard-shack and the two old guards stood there and took it while i did so.

while its not a 30 mile trek, 11 miles of luggin the dirt jumper around is a good workout - especaially if youve tackled Juan Street in Old Town on a singe speed....

Another teameli bike ride. Went down to 24 and did chest and triceps then a good 10.06 mile.

i rode around trying to find the velodrome. needless to say i got lost, climed up the same 2 hills twice, it was bunk - but i got a lot of out-of-the-saddle time and it was a pretty afternoon - so not a total loss. i wanna come ride IB but i hear its a little sketch... dont know anything about it, so im open to try..... lets make a saturday morning ride in IB sometime... PB.

IB is pretty tiny, and there's not much around here. There are a few dive bars, though.

i dunno - i have saturday from like 10:30-11 until whenever... ill make a ride event in the Calif. threads.... something fun and different on saturday...

i had a F*cked Friday stressed out at work, hungover and angry. BUT - i rode when i got home and it all melted away... ill catch you on a Friday ride someday soon... B.

I was thinking to myself, "I don't recognize any of these streets." Then I realized you lived in Ohio.

did a nice hilly 15 miles today - really fast, a little under 1.5 hours...

i call it my airport loop - i ride it as a standard when i want to hit it hard..

hitched a pickup down san diego avenue at old town, old construction worker truck, when he saw me hitchin he slammed on the brakes and i rocketed forward and yelled thanks! ha. had a good ride!!

Kicked it with my sister in Long Beach, and pulled a nice 4 hour ride thru The OC - a bit over 40 miles.

It was cool passin all the old saturday AM guys on their carbon bikes and matching jerseys with their old beer bellies in huge velos while out of the saddle on my fixed gear... haha

40 miles is no joke...

it was fun, 50% of it was along the beach trail, not on the streets, and a lot fo times it was like threading the crowds at HB pier and along the boardwalks - i had a LOT of fun... i miss my old hood sometimes...

Did one of my usual loops on the dirt-jumper today. rode all around Balboa, tricked a bit at the fountain, then headed down 6th to the broadway pier, wallridin the yellow cabbie-barricade things - pretty fun. i started mashin up to broadway to head home and i wheelie-hopped up onto that little island that separates the cabs from the main drag there -

when i did that, my back wheel washed out on the curb and started me side-ways skidding along the island.

there was a shuttle-van parked there. i smashed into the back of the van, it was going really slow and when i smacked it he slammed on his brakes hard. lots of people watchin and shit - i hit that van haulin ass - and it hurt a bit..

i immediately sucked it up and rode to the driver side where the shuttle driver kid had a confused look on his face - i said "my bad" as i rode by, and he started laughin and drove off behind me and we turned up broadway. when he passed i saw the scuffs on the back fo the van and laughed out loud...

im a moron sometimes.... whattayagonnado?

Today Steve C. and I did a nice 39ish miles logged, but it was a little more because of some side street and random touring we did. Nice ride all in all though. We'll be posting a map of it shortly.
