Single or Double Toe Cages?

Just put out your 13 cents on what you think about either or.

I've tried both, and double straps just feel much more secure than singles. I don't think I'll ever go back to singles.

You can use double straps with single clips, it really doesn't matter. I personally have double clips--Soma Oppy XX. I'm thinking of getting some single MKS clips, though. The Somas are kind of uncomfortable.

I think what you guys really intended to clarify is whether we're talking about

"single" gate clips for double straps

When we're talking double.


Since we could have one strap with one or two gates, or two straps with two or four gates. Or clips with two or four gates designed for a double stap but only a single strap run through them, or clips with one or two gates designed for a single strap with only one strap of a double strap run through them.

Ummmm.....

BEAR sTRAPS - they are better than singe, double or triples - 2 inch straps that dont let cho feet go nowheres.....

i say bear straps! but if you want cages go for the double way more comfortable and the padding on the side of the straps and comfy as well

I ride Christophe single straps simply because I got them from a good friend and they were a quick and convenient purchase, but I can see the advantages of double or bear straps.
