well is your fork 1 1/8 or 1"? if its 1 1/8 getting it threaded isnt a good idea. 1 1/8 threaded parts are rare... and probably not the style youre looking for. If its 1" though just take it to your LBS they can do it for you. Also if you live near a bike kitchen they may have a fork threader and you can do it yourself. its not to hard.

Get a 70t. How are you supposed to make hour records without riding ridiculous cadence on that puny 50t?


49/50t sounds like a good number to be at.... I was looking at it the other day, and that gives a pretty reasonable rear cog range to get up to a nice high mid 90" gear and down to a high 70". Cover a 76 for the street, to 80's and low 90's for track without getting too tiny on the rear end.

What kinda cog do you run on there normally?

I dunno if I commented on your other threads or not, but if not, your bike is totally awesome. It's definitely my style of machine.
