| Well I've been looking into budget frames. And here are the verdicts. Please tell me if you had any experience whats so ever with any of these frames. Any feedback would help even if you just rode a friend's bike for 5 minutes and you should it was a good frame. it would also help if you gave me some pros and cons on it. Leader 720 TR $179 [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Eighthinch Scrambler V2 $149.50 [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Pake track frame $163 without fork [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Cinelli Superpista $1099 [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]... Or should I just save an extra $200 for a Specialized Langster frame set? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Thanks guys! | |

| LEADER FRAME: Every1 I know that has had a Leader Frame has sold it. Take an empty Soda can and throw sand at it. That is how it sounds when riding a Leader. Aka, tin can frame.. They look cool, but you should stick with steel. SCRAMBLER FRAME: I had 1. SUPER HEAVY!! No.. PAKE FRAME: Cheap! I've heard they bend easily.. CINELLI: Dope, but super expensiive. In my opinion, I'd save the $$ and go with the Langster Steel. If I had extra $$ I'd buy 1. | |

| I'm digging my Flite 100 ($250 online), but I don't have experience on any nicer frames to really compare. People seem to love the Kilo TT and claim that the frames are the same. | |

| I love Kilos!! I also think it's the closest you'd get to track geometry for that price. I heard from friends that the components are crap tho.. Kilo Frames new are like $220 shipped on ebay I think.. | |

| I had a 721 until i damaged it at polo. the forks cracked and frame dented in a few places.. could have replaced the forks and kept it, but i never really liked that bike anyway so i sold it. I would stay away from the 720, 721 (although they dont make them anymore) and 725s. Besides having super stretched out geo, they feel supper hollow and aren't really that comfortable for the street if you do a lot of commuting. Plus, not sure about the 720, but the v2 725s are pretty heavy for an aluminum frame. | |

| Those bikebiz pictures of the Flite 100 are what caused me to buy mine. I liked the lugged fork and general look of the matte dark gray, and pictured it with the red colors I got for it.
You can take a closer look at it some time if you'd like. Supposedly from what I read on forums, the frame is the same as the Kilo TT, and looking at Eli's at a quick glance, it did look like that could be true. | |
