| I purchased a crank for my Eighthinch Scrambler V3 from eBay and cannot determine what BB spindle length I need? It was advertised as an Origin 8, but turned out to be a Driveline brand, plus the seller is not answering any mail... I am leaning towards a 68x103 and wonder what your thoughts are? I also plan to run a Surly Dingle 17/19 in rear and a 46/44 front rings. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| I'd probably lean more towards a 107 or 110. That's also just a guess. | |

| I installed a 107 and I think it is still about 3mm out by measuring with a straight edge. Absolutely no way I can use the Surly Dingle, as the inside front ring would contact the chain stay. I guess the Dingle will go back to eBay where it came from... probably why it was on there in the first place! | |

| I had a V2 scrambler and my chainring was about 1mm away from the chainstay and was still a little too far out to have a straight chainline. I think scramblers are just built that way, not built to run big chainrings. Maybe like a 42t or less would give you the clearance needed to have a straight chainline. I was running a 46t | |
