| Just got these in the mail yesterday: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Nows I just need a pair of pedals and I'll be rockin' the clipless, baby! Got these off Bonktown for 47 after shipping... first time I've seen any shoes in my size come up on there, and bought them as sort of an impulse buy. They seem to be comfortable enough, which is good since they were about half the price of the entry level Shimanos I was looking at otherwise. | |

I've been thinking of trying out SPDs with mountain bike shoes...

Cleats will come with the pedals (or individually as a replacement for when they wear out), as the way they interface is specific to the design.
I'm not sure what kind of pedals I'm gonna get, maybe an SPD-SL, or who knows. Somebody at track class said he has some old Looks sitting around from last time he upgraded all his bikes, so I might be able to get into that.
MTB pedals/shoes might be nice for general use since they'd be easier to walk around in (which I bet is why you're thinking about em. I'm excited to try out a clipless connection and see what difference that and a good rigid-soled shoe makes in power riding.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Move the brake to the front; it's more effective there. Your legs are your rear brakes.
