I didnt hear the old mexi dude - it wasnt that bad - just a quiet ethnic neighborhood - filled with little kids in the yards that were still up at 1030 on a school night - haha.

Fun ride - cool being on the pier for the shaker - lots of bike repairs this time around -

note to riders - work on your bikes BEFORE you leave the house - parkign SUX on game days at 5&10 also.

Good ride - LONG ride too.

Left 5&10 and cruised up to India and took that all the way to the trolley stop in oldtown, where we jumped on the river trail down to PB.

rode the boardwalk for a ways about 15 people deep.

Stopped at Woody's Pizza and had a 34oz beer (some had food) and watched the Tour on the TV.

Left there and went Garrnet to the 5 frwy and picked up that road that goes around the outside of mission bay, rode that to PCH and then back to the shop.

Got in a little before midnight. Only one "incident" but no bikes were too muffed up.

Jay is talking about getting into "serious" roadbiking. the TDF got him very interested in some real distance riding - go for it jay!

Ive been on vacation, out of town, too sick or too hungover to make the monday rides for the past few weeks- but im down for the next one - so lets make it a good one -
