Without a bike rack, that is. My old bike rack just won't fit securely enough on my new car--and it scratches the trunk.

If you have a back seat that folds down, I've been able to fit bikes in the trunk after taking off the front wheel so the bars can be turned 90 degrees. Takes a bit of fiddling to get around the trunk and in far enough, but works pretty well.

My old bass player fit one of these in the back seat of a small car, so I'm sure there's a way to fit a bike.
