| To be honest all the ones down south near the border are GARBAGE. The only one that isn't shady Holland's Bicycles in Coronado. Everyone likes Ye Olyde Bike Shoppe near SDSU but I havent been there yet. | |

| Friends had bad experiences (mainly customer service issues) at Adams ave and Mission hills bike shop. Velocult, ye olde, pedal pushing, sd bike shop, Fix bike shop, are all good places. Check them out. | |

I dunno about Ocean. My cousin took her bike their for a tuneup and they just f-ed it up and left her brakes & shifters in non-working order.

| Went to Velocult to check it out, and those guys hooked it up on the spot, won't go anywhere else now...
Customer Service is key, especially the first 5 minutes.

| Holland's, Velocult, Thomas Bike, Adams Ave, SD Bike Shop and Ye old are probably some of the best i've been to.
Performance bike is pretty legit too... better prices, good selection and friendly people, but they don't exactly cater to fixed gear bikes.

| mission hills has gotten A LOT better - i just bought a 65 dollar helmet there - i paid 6 bux more than buyign it online, but the service they gave me was really attentive.
Adams i havent been back to cuz they are just how they are... its next to Cal Coast Bikes which rules them all....
